Lessons
Each young artist receives 2 weekly lessons with the assigned major teacher. In addition, there will be opportunities for master classes with guest artists. Experienced pianists will be available for lessons and rehearsals.

Chamber Music
All young artists will be assigned to a chamber music group that stays together for the entire time of the academy. Weekly coachings are available with the resident string quartets, guests artists, and faculty. Each group will receive performance and recording opportunities.

Masterclasses
Young Artists are encouraged to participate in master classes by the faculty and guest artists.

Young Artist Recitals
As part of the concert schedule at the Academy, young artists will receive performance opportunity at On Campus Concert Hall and in Beijing Concert Hall.

Concerts
Guest artists, faculty, and young artists will perform concerts at the Grand Epoch City and Beijing. Concert attendance is required and free to enrolled young artists.

Professional orchestras and
Great Wall Chamber Ensembles

The following professional ensembles have been contracted in Beijing to support the participants in the Academy for rehearsals and performances of concerti:

Chamber ensembles of 10 players:
2 violins, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn

Selected young artists will be invited to rehearse and perform concerti on evening performances with the Great Wall Chamber Ensemble. Soloists will be chosen by the artistic director. Repertoire will be chosen in collaboration with the artist's teacher. The GWIMA will publish a list of available orchestra scores. The Great Wall Chamber Ensembles will be conducted by staff conductors.

Professional orchestras has been hired for Gala Concerts.
The Gala concerts will take place in Beijing. Buses and tickets will be provided for all young artists.
