Program description
Chamber music has remained a popular form of western classical art for hundreds of years, and yet it is still unfamiliar to many Chinese musicians and audiences. GWIMA designed this new course in order to advance chamber music in China by teaching young faculty members from different Chinese conservatories the essentials of chamber music and coaching. They can then pass that knowledge on to the hundreds of Chinese students they encounter.
